Seasoning can make any meal! There are several great salad seasonings out there but I prefer to make my own.  I came across this McCormick salad Supreme Seasoning recipe that is pretty good. We use it not just on salads but also on pasta dishes or hamburgers or even grilled chicken.  I am sure there are many of other uses and I would love to hear your ideas below! PS Add it to vinegar and oil (with a small amount of toasted sesame oil) and you will have a delicious dressing!   McCormick’s Salad Supreme Seasoning Copycat 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame seeds 1 teaspoon paprika 3/4 teaspoon sea salt 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds 1/2 teaspoon celery seed 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper 1 dash cayenne pepper 2 tablespoons grated Romano cheese Relevant Searchcopycat Salad Supreme recipeMcCormick\s love salad recipe

Savory Sauteed Sweet Potatoes Jamaican Style

You will want to give these sauteed sweet potatoes a try! Here is what you need: Sweet potatoes butter or coconut oil curry walnuts onions lime cider/vinegar First, boil the potatoes for 30 minutes or so.  If you have really large potatoes, you might want to cut them in quarters.  It was recommended that I boil them whole but I prefer to quarter and slice and then boil. Next you sautee the walnuts in the butter/oil with the curry. Then sautee the onions (chopped) with the lime rind and lime juice and apple cider (or vinegar or some sort of stock)  You can do this in a separate pan or just remove the walnuts and use the same pan.  (I am all for less pans to wash!) Finally sautee everything together. Let me know what you think!  (I always love your feedback.) PS If you want quantities, try these:   5 small sweet potatoes; 3T butter; 3/4t curry; 2/3C walnuts; 1/4C chopped onions; 1/2t grated lime rind; 1T lime juice; 1/2C apple cider or poultry stock.
