However, as I started to look at eating healthy, I started to cut back the number of times Rice-a-Roni was on the menu. Last April, when my son was diagnosed with numerous food allergies, Rice-a-Roni was eliminated from our menu and diet.

A lot of us grew up with a box rice dish Rice-a-roni, aka the “San Francisco Treat”; it even was a consolation prize on game shows back in the day.
